Defendant was found guilty of being an armed habitual criminal and was sentenced to 18 years in prison. On appeal, defendant argued that the trial court erred when it denied his motion to suppress evidence. The appellate court affirmed, finding that the trial court did not err when it denied defendant’s motion to suppress evidence found during an inventory search and that the trial court’s factual findings were not against the manifest weight of the evidence.
