Reynolds v. Reynolds

The Illinois Supreme Court considered whether the applicable legal standard for a motion seeking to modify only parenting time could be found under section 610.5(a) or 610.5(c) of the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act. The court concluded that section 610.5(a) is the correct applicable legal standard for a motion to modify parenting time only so that the petition need only show a simple change in circumstances and not a substantial change in circumstances.
