Central Illinois’ chief federal prosecutor has announced his retirement. U.S. Attorney Gregory K. Harris, who leads the Central District of Illinois submitted his resignation Monday to President Joe Biden and stated that he would retire afterwards, effective mid-day Jan. 2.
