Appeals court rejects innocence certificate for man who had conviction overturned in 2001 Burrito Express murder in McHenry

An appeals court has rejected a man’s request for an innocence certification after he was convicted three times in the killing of a Burrito Express restaurant owner in McHenry in 2001 and then released from prison after his conviction was overturned.
