Membership is open to all attorneys licensed in the United States

Prorated Dues
Qualifying attorneys joining after January 1 have the option of:
- Prorated dues at half the dues rate and 7.5 hours of Free On-Demand CLE; or,
- Pay the full dues to receive the full 15 hours of Free On-Demand CLE

Member Dues
The bar membership year runs July 1 through June 30.

| 6th–8th year after admission to any Bar | $240 |
| 9th–10th year after admission to any Bar | $300 |

*Retired/Inactive status requires Retired/Inactive Status with ARDC.
† Not eligible for Free On-Demand CLE. (Non-Illinois residents may join ISBA with a regular dues level membership to participate in the Free Online CLE program.)
Law Students
Law Students are eligible for a free electronic membership for up to four years of law school. Find out more about the law student benefits.
Associate Membership
Non-lawyers who are qualified through education, training, or work experience, may become Associate members. Sponsorship and supervision by an active ISBA lawyer member is required. Dues are $120 per year.
