U.S. Supreme Court declines to hear challenge to Illinois’ concealed carry ban on public transit

The Cook County State’s Attorney’s office, alongside Illinois attorney general Kwame Raoul and DuPage County state’s attorney, had challenged a lower court ruling that overturned it. A federal appeals court backed the law in a September decision.
