Plaintiff filed a lawsuit after he was disenrolled by the defendant following an investigation and disciplinary process resulting from plaintiff’s continued posting on social media in which he made crass comments while dressed in his uniform. The district court granted summary judgment for the defendant and plaintiff appealed. The Seventh Circuit affirmed, finding that the district court properly found that the defendant made a reasonable determination that plaintiff’s speech could undermine the defendant’s mission and outweighed his interest in the statements he made and that the defendant did not violate the First Amendment.
