RIPPLE

Plaintiff filed a lawsuit under Title VII for violation of the Equal Protection Clause and under the Rehabilitation Act, alleging that she was subject to a hostile work environment because of her sex and that defendants retaliated against her when she complained about the hostile work environment and when she sought reasonable accommodation. The district court granted summary judgment for the defendants and plaintiff appealed. The Seventh Circuit affirmed, finding that no rational jury could find that the defendant’s actions were proximately caused by the allegedly biased recommendations of plaintiff’s supervisor.
