Doctors and Catholic bishop file federal lawsuit to block Illinois assisted suicide law

A group of Illinois physicians, a Catholic bishop and a faith-based nursing home have filed a federal lawsuit seeking to block portions of Illinois’ new assisted suicide law before it takes effect next month.
