Respondent appealed from the juvenile court’s orders adjudicating the respondent’s minor child to be abused and neglected and finding that it was in the child’s best interests to be adjudged a ward of the court. In an earlier appeal, the court affirmed the trial court’s adjudication findings and remanded for an order providing the factual basis supporting the trial court’s dispositional findings. The appellate court affirmed, finding that the trial court’s findings that respondent was unable to care for the minor and that it was in the minor’s best interests to be made a ward of the court were not against the manifest weight of the evidence where the evidence showed that respondent did not fully engage in the required parenting and mental health programs.
