Defendant, age 18 at time of offense, was convicted after jury trial of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and sentenced to 12 years imprisonment. Victim was the 12-year old sister of Defendant's former girlfriend. ER doctor's testimony that victim told him that she had not had sex before was admissible as relevant to his examination and conclusion that she had been assaulted.
