(Zalewski, D-Chicago; Munoz, D-Chicago) creates the Illinois Street Gang and Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Law (RICO) that is intended to address the skyrocketing increase of homicides in Chicago. It took effective June 11, 2012.
