Here are some of the big changes to the ISBA's website.
New login system
- Members can now set their own user name and passwords.
- If you have trouble logging in, you can have a link emailed to you to reset your user name and password. Of course, you can only do this if we have your email address in our database. For this reason users may not share an email address.
- Members no longer have to login again to access another part of the site.
Logging in will open the door to many other new features on the website.
To login, simply click on the ISBA Member Login link in the upper right side of the page.
New profile page
Upon logging in you will be taken to your profile page where you can see what information we have about you. You can also easily update your information there.
You profile page can also show some of your activity including:
- What leadership position you may hold;
- What sections you belong to (with handy links);
- Purchase history of orders made through the store and links to any Fastbooks you may have purchased;
- Recent comments you have made on articles and legislation.
More benefits of logging in
- When you are logged in, order forms and the like will automatically be filled in for you with the information we have on file;
- You will be able to post comments on articles;
- You can see your purchase history and access to Fastbooks you may have purchased.
Redesigns of publications
- E-Clips has been completely redesigned;
- Electronic section newsletters have been redesigned and now also feature related CLE and recent court cases (when available);
- The online version of Illinois Bar Journal has been redesigned.
Improved CLE calendar
Now you can filter the CLE calendar by practice area and location and see at a glance MCLE and PMCLE credit hours for each program. You can choose between an easy to read listing of events or a calendar view.
Improved section homepages
Section homepages now have links to articles in the current section newsletter as well as related CLE and recent court decisions (when available).
