Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act
Defendant was convicted of 2 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a 14-year-old in 2014, and was required to register as a sex offender because of his 1983 conviction for attempted criminal sexual assault. Court's order sentencing Defendant to 4 1/2 years does not require him to register as a sex offender under the Registration Act. Thus, his constitutional challenges to the Act are beyond scope of appellate court's power to grant relief under Supreme Court Rule 615(b). Fines and fees order corrected.
