Federal 7th Circuit Court
Civil Court
Employment Discrimination
Plaintiff could not establish any prejudice arising out of her trial on her claim that she received unequal pay due to gender discrimination and in retaliation for complaining of said discrimination, where: (1) plaintiff had contended that Dist. Ct. had submitted erroneous jury instructions and verdict forms; and (2) jury eventually found in favor of defendant-employer on all counts raised by plaintiff. Plaintiff’s alleged errors all related to damage issues, and jury’s finding in favor of defendant on issue of liability precluded jury from considering alleged improper instructions and verdict forms.
