The Illinois Supreme Court has agreed take up a Petition for Leave to Appeal filed by Sangamon County State's Attorney John Milhiser regarding the detention of a former Sangamon County Sheriff's deputy charged with first-degree murder in the July 6 fatal shooting of Sonya Massey.
