Illinois Appellate Court
Civil Court
Order of Protection
Respondent appealed from the trial court’s entry of a plenary order of protection, arguing that the trial court should have barred the testimony of one of the experts for failing to produce a report in a timely manner. Respondent also challenged the court’s issuance of the plenary order of protection, and made various challenges to its terms and condition. The appellate court affirmed in all respects except for the best interests of the couple’s minor child, remanding for rehearing on the appointment of a GAL as the visitation supervisor and on the allocation of fees for that supervision.
