Candidates for an associate judge vacancy in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit have been rated in an advisory poll of lawyers conducted by the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) in cooperation with the Winnebago (WCBA) and Boone (BCBA) county bar associations. Results of this poll were made available today.

The advisory poll is conducted by mail and is sent to all ISBA members in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit as well as members of the WCBA and BCBA. Licensed Illinois attorneys who are not members of the ISBA, WCBA, or BCBA, or who are outside the circuit, could request a ballot. The results of this poll are being released to the public at the request of Chief Judge Eugene G. Doherty. Opinions expressed in the poll are of those attorneys who chose to respond and do not reflect the opinion of the Illinois State Bar Association or the opinions of all Illinois attorneys.
