Legislation
The Section Council reviewed 34 bills that may affect their members’ practice area. Highlights of the most recent legislative session include:
- House Bill 1 creates the Prevention of Use of Hemp Cannabinoid Products Intended for Human Consumption by Ingestion or Inhalation by Persons Under 21 Years of Age Act.
- Senate Bill 42 amends the Illinois Vehicle Code to remove the requirement that cannabis within any area of a motor vehicle must be in an odor-proof container.
