Annual Meeting Registration Information

All attendees are required to register for the Annual Meeting. Early Bird Registration is accepted via our online form only.

In order to streamline the registration process, this year we have adopted a new a la carte system that provides attendees with options to make selections based on their needs and preferences. We are hopeful that this will streamline the registration process and avoid attendee confusion regarding which specific events are being registered for.

There will be a “Business Meeting” registration option that only provides attendees with access to ISBA business meetings. The fee for this covers generous hospitality, and meeting room set up and charges for section council, committee, board, and Assembly meetings (similar to the previously charged general “Registration Fee”).  All other programs and events are separately ticketed to permit flexibility and options for those coming to the Annual Meeting—whether on their own or with families.

Early Bird Registration is available online until May 30 and Onsite Registration begins June 5 in the Mettawa Room at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort. Members participating in any Annual Meeting event, program or business meeting who do not pre-register, will be assessed the Onsite Fees. The deadline for online registration is 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 30. Onsite registration will be available beginning Thursday, June 5 in the Mettawa Room located on the First Floor at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort.

Business Meeting Expense Reimbursement

For Annual and Midyear Meetings, the Association is required to reserve a significant block of guest rooms at the headquarters hotel as well as guarantee that members will use a large percentage of the reserved rooms. If we fail to use the contracted number of guest rooms, we pay a penalty. As a result, members who will be requesting reimbursement of expenses in conjunction with these meetings, must stay at the headquarters hotels. In the event the room block sells out, members having to seek alternate arrangements will be eligible to seek reimbursement pursuant to the Reimbursement Policy, provided the alternate reservation was secured after the headquarters hotel sold out. Reimbursement Forms will be distributed at the conclusion of each Business Meeting, including at the conclusion of the Assembly Meeting, and must be submitted within 45 days of the meeting. Please note: no-shows, early departures and cancellations received outside the hotel’s cancellation policy will be billed to the member and these charges are not eligible for reimbursement.

Accommodations

Our goal is to host meetings that enable all individuals to participate fully and equally. Please email the Annual Meeting Coordinator at least two weeks prior to the program to allow us time to make any reasonable accommodations that would allow you to participate more fully. Venues for ISBA conferences are selected for maximum accessibility.

Members with dietary restrictions or food allergies must notify the Annual Meeting Coordinator at least two weeks in advance of the event in order to provide the venue with necessary time to accommodate the request. Although we make every effort possible to accommodate all requests, we are unable to guarantee special dietary requests made onsite.
