Candidates for an associate judge vacancy in the 17th Judicial Circuit have been rated in an advisory poll of lawyers conducted by the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) in cooperation with the Winnebago County (WCBA) and Boone County (BCBA) bar associations. Results of this poll were provided to Chief Judge Joseph G. McGraw and were made available today at

Ballots were sent to all ISBA members who practice or reside in the 17th Judicial Circuit as well as members of the WCBA and BCBA. Licensed attorneys who are not members of the ISBA, WCBA or BCBA, or are outside the circuit could request a ballot. Opinions expressed in the poll are of those attorneys who chose to respond and do not reflect the opinion of the Illinois State Bar Association or the opinion of all Illinois Attorneys.

The Illinois State Bar Association is a voluntary organization of 33,000 members that provides professional services to Illinois lawyers and education and services to the public. For more information, visit
