Mistress of Ceremonies, Television and Film Personality Sheryl Lee Ralph, welcomes the attendees.

Dr. Jean G. Ford, M.D., of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, traveled to Haiti the day after the earthquake and helped with the emergency rescue efforts. He is joined by Michele Jochner, and Lionel Jean-Baptiste, President of the Haitian American Lawyers Association, and Chairman of the Haitian Congress to Fortify Haiti.

Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky spoke of her own recent travels to Haiti after the disaster.
