Kristin Yoo joins Korean Bar Association of Chicago's board of directors

Cozen O’Connor member Kristin Yoo recently joined the Korean American Bar Association of Chicago’s board of directors. Comprised of more than 200 attorneys and law school students, the Korean American Bar Association of Chicago provides a networking resource to its members and service to the community by hosting professional, educational, community and social events throughout the year. Yoo is a member of Cozen O’Connor’s general litigation department in the firm’s Chicago office. She focuses her practice on commercial litigation matters, including premises liability, construction negligence, product liability, warranty and coverage. She has extensive experience drafting pleadings and responses to discovery, as well as preparing and arguing motions for summary judgment, motions to dismiss, and motions in limine. She has conducted depositions of witnesses and experts, participated in pre-trial settlement conferences, and prepared numerous cases for trial. Yoo earned her undergraduate degree from Hamilton College (B.A, 1997) and her law degree from The John Marshall Law School (J.D., 2002), where she was staff editor of The Journal of Computer & Information Law. Admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Illinois, Yoo is a member of the American, Illinois State, and Chicago bar associations and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel.
