Querrey & Harrow welcomes associate Helena Gonzalez

Querrey & Harrow welcomes Helena Gonzalez as an associate attorney in its Chicago office practicing general civil litigation.  Ms. Gonzalez has worked with Querrey & Harrow since 2011, having served as a law clerk prior to being admitted to the Illinois Bar. As a law clerk, Ms. Gonzalez gained experience in legal research and all phases of the litigation process.

During law school, Ms. Gonzalez was a member of Chicago-Kent’s Moot Court Honor Society and served as its Vice President during her final year of law school. In 2011, her moot court team competed against more than 150 law schools in the nation’s largest moot court competition, where she became Regional Champion and a National Semifinalist. Ms. Gonzalez was also the recipient of the Moot Court Honor Society’s 2012 Marc Grinker Student Commitment Award.

Ms. Gonzalez is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Hispanic National Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.

Ms. Gonzalez obtained her JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2012 and her B.A. in Economics from the University of Florida in 2008.  She is a resident of Chicago.
