Michael J. Tardy, Director of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts, announced today that the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit judges voted to select Charles E. Petersen as an associate judge of the Sixteenth Judicial Circuit.

Mr. Petersen received his undergraduate degree in 1972 from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and his Juris Doctor in 1977 from John Marshall in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Petersen is currently affiliated with Porro, Niermann & Petersen LLC in Aurora, Illinois.
