The Illinois Supreme Court heard oral arguments on Sept. 18 at Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey.

The arguments at Lewis & Clark Community College were the court’s first road trip since March 15, 2018, when arguments were heard at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign.

Students and teachers from local schools were invited to participate in the program either by attending the arguments live or watching via a live stream. Among those in attendance was ISBA President Elect Dennis Orsey.
