Alpha Epsilon Pi Foundation Names Mark Karno to the Board of Directors

The Alpha Epsilon Pi Foundation has elected Mark Karno to its Board of Directors. Karno has been involved in the fraternity for many years and continues to be an active members of the foundation.        

The AEPi Foundation promotes the values of Alpha Epsilon Pi through leadership development, partnerships with educational and Jewish communal organizations and provisions of scholarships, financial support and programming for the betterment of AEPi brothers, their campuses and their community.

Karno is managing partner and owner of Mark L. Karno Associates, LLC, a law firm dedicated to fighting for the rights of injured clients. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance in 1979 and Chicago-Kent College of Law at Illinois Institute of Technology where he earned his juris doctorate degree.

He is active in his professional community, serving as treasurer of the Illinois Bar Foundation and an elected member of the Board of Governors for the Illinois State Bar Association. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Decalogue Society of Lawyers, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Justinian Society of Lawyers, American Bar Association, National Trial Lawyers and American Association for Justice. Karno is a member of Anshe Emet Synagogue in Chicago, Illinois, where he lives along with his son, Michael (31).
