Regina Pearson Brings In-House Background, Renewable Energy Experience to Faegre Drinker

Faegre Drinker has built upon its strong foundation serving the construction and energy industry with the addition of Regina Pearson. Pearson joins the firm after serving as in-house counsel at a global engineering and construction company. Pearson will serve as counsel in the firm’s Chicago office.

Pearson delivers transactional, regulatory, litigation and operational counsel to clients in the planning, development and management of major construction projects. She has significant experience advising on energy projects in the liquefied natural gas (LNG), petrochemical, power and renewable energy sectors.

During her time as in-house counsel, Pearson played an integral role advising executive, global, regional and project management on projects and facilities exceeding $50 billion in value. She drafted, revised and negotiated agreements for energy and process facilities, formed joint venture and consortium agreements on LNG, methanol and urea facilities, and reviewed and analyzed the impact of federal regulations on the company’s projects. She also served as the lead compliance officer and contact for the company’s North, Central and South America region.

Pearson also represents and advises clients in the construction industry on private and public contracts. Her litigation experience includes actions relating to commercial torts, regulatory matters, small business affiliations, minority business certifications, civil right deprivations and other high-impact matters.
