Joseph VanFleet of Howard & Howard Named Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America

Joseph VanFleet, a partner with the Royal Oak, Mich.-based Howard & Howard law firm, has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). VanFleet, a nationally recognized trial lawyer, is a member of Howard & Howard’s Business Litigation Practice Group.

The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American attorneys. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected by their peers based upon excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appeals levels, and superior ethical reputation. Aggressively diverse in its composition, LCA reflects the American bar in the 21st Century and represents the best in law among its membership.

VanFleet’s practice ranges from small businesses and community banks to Fortune 100 publicly traded entities and large-scale lenders. He has represented clients throughout the country and secured over 100 victories in trials, appeals and alternative dispute resolution cases.

Admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of Appeals/Seventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court, VanFleet is also a member of the Peoria County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Abraham Lincoln American Inn of Court.
