He was an accomplished attorney in the Joliet area, former partner at Spesia, Ayers, and Ardaugh and President of the Will County Bar Association from 2006-2007. Jack was an incredibly social individual and loved planning events of every kind. He was very proud of his Irish heritage and was a pioneer of the Manhattan Irish Fest. He was instrumental in making that particular event the high-class Irish celebration that it is today. I had a heater case as an attorney against Jack in Will County about 20 years ago, before my current job, and always found him to be a worthy opponent, very professional, and a good person.  Thereafter, I even referred him a case or two.  He and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
