Thomas P. Stepanich 1935-2020

Stepanich, Thomas Parker, of Naples, Florida, passed away on December 28, 2020 at the age of 85 following a lengthy illness.

He was a long-time resident of Waukegan and Gurnee, Illinois before retiring to Naples.

Thomas was born December 2, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois, and a graduate of South Shore High School and the University of Illinois at Navy Pier. He graduated from the De Paul University School of Law, and then served in the United States Army's Judge Advocate General corps while stationed in Maryland and Illinois. Thomas settled in Lake County, Illinois and established a successful law practice in Waukegan. He was a member of the Lake County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.

Thomas was an avid golfer, a past member of the Glen Flora Country Club in Waukegan, and a member of Royal Palm Country Club in Naples. He was a parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Church in Naples and sang in the adult choir for over 20 years.

Thomas is survived by his significant other, Mary McKillen; his four children, Gregory (Sharon) Stepanich, Linda Stepanich, David (Alexandra) Stepanich, Matthew Stepanich; granddaughters, Gina Messinides, Daria Stepanich and Jordan Spradlin; nephews James Stepanich, Philip Geyer, John Geyer, nieces Jennifer Marin and Gigi Marasco; and sister-in-law Diane Stepanich. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ruby, his sister Joanne Geyer and brother Charles Stepanich.
