2021 ISBA Annual Meeting Announcement

ISBA members:

The health and wellbeing of our members are always paramount concerns. In keeping with this important priority, we have decided to once again hold the ISBA Annual Meeting virtually. The 145th Annual Meeting will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021. The Annual Meeting will include the organizational meeting of the Board of Governors and a meeting of the Assembly. Both meetings will be conducted by Zoom. ISBA section councils and committees will be holding their organizational meetings via Zoom in the months of June and July.

I will have the honor and the privilege of being installed as the 145th President of the ISBA on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. Based on the anticipated restrictions that will be in place, we are planning a private installation ceremony at the Supreme Court of Illinois Building in Springfield, observing the necessary public health measures. I greatly appreciate the courtesy and cooperation of Chief Justice Anne Burke and all of the Justices of the Supreme Court for making this special occasion possible.

One of the hallmarks of being active in the ISBA is the collegiality and camaraderie evidenced when we can get together in-person. We are choosing to be optimistic and are planning to host an in-person, outdoor member appreciation event this fall in the Chicago suburbs, as well as a similar member event later during the 2021-22 bar year in central or southern Illinois. We are also looking forward to our Midyear Meeting in downtown Chicago during the Holiday Season. We are making plans to further help our members navigate these challenging times as ISBA continues its commitment to provide exemplary services to our members. As President, I will put members interests at the forefront. As we head toward 2021-22, be safe and stay well.

Sincerely,
Anna P. Krolikowska
