Beloved husband of Ursula Walter nee Grund. Loving step-father of Dan (Marsha) Swartz and Dr. Rebecca Swartz (David Scherba). Proud grandfather of Sophie, Yael, Emily, and Ari. Cherished brother of Rodger Walter.

Neal was an Assistant State's Attorney and proudly served for 2 years in the Metropolitan Enforcement Group. He continued practicing law for over 40 years as a criminal defense attorney.
