Mike attended Holy Cross Grade School and graduated from Joliet Catholic High School. He did his undergraduate studies at Lewis University and received his Law Degree from Loyola University.

Mike, a partner with the Tracy, Johnson and Wilson Law Firm in Joliet, has practiced law in the community for many years.

He is the beloved husband of 36 years to Lee (nee Stroud) Wojtak; dearest dad of Tom (Sarah) Yuratick and Jyne (the late Robert) Hayes; proud grandpa of Jesse, Kathryn (Brennan), Becca; Allison, Abigail, Maggie, Gina, Alex, Samantha; Cindy (Nick) and Dana (Jeff); devoted great-grandpa of Phoebe; cherished son of Loretta Wojtak; fond brother of Mary (Ron) McAdams, Paula (Rob) Holtzauer, Annie (Ron) LaVazza, and Jim (Lisa) Wojtak.
