The Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Access to Justice is pleased to announce that it has approved a form suite for public comment. The Eviction Answer, Defenses, and Counterclaims form suite is available for comment for 45 days until December 30, 2022.  This form set is meant to help self-represented litigants respond to an Eviction Complaint. The draft forms can be found here, and you may submit comments through the website. After the public comment period ends, the Commission will review any feedback or suggestions received and make any necessary revisions.
