Goldberg Segalla Deepens Product Liability Bench in Chicago
(CHICAGO, IL)—Goldberg Segalla added two attorneys to their Product Liability group in Chicago, partner Alex P. Blair, and associate Lewis Liu.

An experienced defense attorney, Alex P. Blair represents manufacturers of a variety of products and owners of food, beverage and refining facilities in complex product liability and toxic tort matters. In addition to defending clients in Illinois, Indiana and Texas, he has handled depositions on behalf of clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York and analyzed relevant statutes and case law in defense of lawsuits filed in jurisdictions across the country. Blair has managed cases as local counsel from initial filing through final disposition, and collaborated with national coordinating counsel to formulate strategy and report litigation developments. He earned his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
Lewis Liu counsels and defends manufacturers of consumer and automotive products as well as food and beverages in product liability matters throughout Illinois. He is engaged in litigation from inception through resolution, developing defense strategy, drafting dispositive motions for summary judgment, personal jurisdiction, forum non conveniens, choice of law and statute of limitations, defending depositions, and cross-examining witnesses. Liu attained his B.A. from the University of Chicago and his J.D. from the Chicago Kent College of Law.
