Bridget C. Duignan Installed as 149th President of the Illinois State Bar Association

Bridget C. Duignan, currently a Circuit Judge in the 19th Subcircuit in Cook County, was installed as president of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) today at the Illinois Supreme Court building in Chicago. Duignan is the 149th president of the Association.
The Illinois Supreme Court appointed Duignan to the 19th Subcircuit of Cook County on June 11, 2024. Subsequently, Duignan was elected as Circuit Judge in the 19th Subcircuit of the Cook County Circuit Court on November 5, 2024. Prior to joining the bench, Duignan served as the managing partner at Latherow & Duignan, concentrating in medical negligence, construction negligence, sexual abuse, and wrongful death matters.
Duignan received a bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and a J.D. from the John Marshall Law School (n/k/a University of Illinois Chicago School of Law).
