IBF Gala - Oct. 17, 2025 - Part 2

The Illinois Bar Foundation hosted its 26th Annual Black Tie Gala on Friday, October 17, 2025, at The Four Seasons Hotel, 120 E. Delaware Place, Chicago. The evening honored Mark D. Hassakis, Past President of the Illinois State Bar Association (2010–11) and Past President of the Illinois Bar Foundation (2000–02).

Owner of Hassakis & Hassakis, P.C., Mr. Hassakis was recognized with the Foundation’s highest honor, the Distinguished Award for Excellence, in recognition of his exceptional leadership within the Illinois legal and philanthropic communities and his steadfast dedication to serving others through the practice of law.

The Gala raised funds for the Access to Justice Grants and Lawyers Care Fund programs of the Illinois Bar Foundation, which advance the Foundation’s mission to ensure meaningful access to the justice system and to provide assistance to lawyers and their families in need.
