ISBA Website Downtime: Information on Affected Services

The Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) will be converting to a new association management system (AMS) on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Our AMS is the membership database that serves as the backbone for most of our technology systems, including the ISBA website (isba.org). In order to execute the AMS conversion process, beginning on January 21, 2026, the ISBA website and all products, programs, services, and benefits accessed through it will be unavailable. Specifically, members will not be able to access the following services:
- The vLex Fastcase free legal research platform;
- The Free On-Demand CLE program;
- ISBA Central online discussion communities;
- Member account profiles;
- Illinois Lawyer Finder (phone referral system and online directory profiles); and
- Any other ISBA products, services, programs, or benefits accessed via the ISBA website.
Additionally, ISBA digital communications and emails will not be delivered beginning on Wednesday, January 21. This includes delivery of E-Clips, newsletters, and legislation sent to groups for review. Delivery will resume when the AMS conversion process is completed.
When the AMS conversion process is complete, you will receive an email instructing you on how to create login credentials for your new ISBA user account. Please refrain from visiting the ISBA website until you receive that email. At that time, access will be restored to the ISBA website, programs, services, and member benefits.
If you have any questions about any of this, please contact Membership Services at either memberservices@isba.org or (217) 525-1760.
