ISBA Website Downtime: Information on Affected Services

The Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) is in the process of converting to a new association management system (AMS). Our AMS is the membership database that serves as the backbone for most of our technology systems.
As of Tuesday morning, Jan. 27, most of the ISBA website is back online. Members are now able to login to the ISBA website, but they will need to reset their password to access their accounts in our new system. When logging in, a member's usernames for the website is now their primary email address. Once logged in, members can access the vLex Fastcase legal research platform.
We will send an email to all ISBA members with instructions for logging into the ISBA website, but if you need access now, go to the login page and click the forgot password link to reset it.
As of now, the following ISBA member services remain unavailable:
- Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs;
- The webstore on the ISBA website; and
- The join/renew form on the ISBA website.
To access upcoming live CLE programs that members have previously registered for, please follow the instructions that will be provided by the CLE Department.
If you need assistance, please email Member Services or call 217-525-1760.
Rest assured that ISBA staff is diligently working to restore member services. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to have all member services restored soon.
