Louis George Apostol Will Continue To Serve Another Term as Public Administrator of Cook County

Governor J.B. Pritzker recently announced that Louis George Apostol will continue to serve another term as Public Administrator of Cook County.

Mr. Apostol has a distinguished 45-year career as a practicing attorney in Illinois. He has been reappointed to this position multiple times since 1991. He formerly served as Executive Director & General Counsel to the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board and was appointed Commissioner/Trial Judge on the Illinois Court of Claims.

He formerly was elected the President of the Hellenic Foundation in Chicago and was recently elected Vice President. He formerly served as Chair of the NIU College of Law Board of Visitors and continues his service to the board. He is the “Distinguished Advisor” to the National Hellenic Museum in Chicago and serves on the board of other multiple organizations in the Chicago area.
