Notice of Planned Service Interruption

The Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) will soon begin the process of converting to a new association management system (AMS). Our AMS is the membership database that serves as the backbone for most of our technology systems, including the ISBA website (isba.org). In preparation of our AMS conversion, we will experience a “data freeze” beginning on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 4:30 pm. From the beginning of this data freeze through the launch of our new AMS, members will not be able to:
- Update or edit any personal or business information on their ISBA account profile;
- Order Free On-Demand CLE programs or upcoming CLE programs; or
- Purchase books or products through the ISBA’s website store.
During the data freeze, the ISBA website will remain live until we get closer to the AMS conversion launch date. While the website is live, ISBA members will still be able to log in to:
- Access vLex Fastcase;
- Watch/attend CLE programs that have already been ordered;
- Complete the self-nomination form for appointment to section councils and committees for the 2026-27 bar year (deadline for self-nominations is January 15, 2026); and
- Access other members-only content on the website.
Another email will be sent next week to update you on further downtime for the ISBA website.
If you need to update any information on your ISBA account, purchase any ISBA books, or utilize your Free On-Demand CLE benefit, please make sure to do so prior to 4:30 pm on Friday, January 9, 2026. After that time, any necessary updates to your ISBA account can be made by emailing memberservices@isba.org. You can also order ISBA books by calling Membership Services at (217) 525-1760.
In the coming weeks, we will continue sending updates and instructions for how to access your ISBA products and services as we work through the conversion to our new AMS.
If you have any questions about any of this, please contact Membership Services at either memberservices@isba.org or (217) 525-1760.
