Simmons Hanly Conroy Sponsors Annual Public Interest Law Initiative Awards Luncheon

ALTON, Il. – Simmons Hanly Conroy, a national leader in the legal representation of mesothelioma patients and their families, was pleased to recognize and support outstanding leadership in public interest law as an Executive Sponsor of the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) Annual Awards Luncheon, which took place Dec. 10 at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago.
The luncheon, PILI’s largest annual fundraiser, unites the Illinois legal community to celebrate exemplary aspects of the legal profession, including the generosity and commitment of law students and recent graduates, lawyers and legal professionals, law firms, corporations, and law schools dedicated to providing legal assistance and advocacy to those in need.
“Simmons Hanly Conroy is proud to support and advance PILI’s worthwhile efforts, which benefit Illinois residents who don’t have access to legal services due to a lack of financial resources,” said Simmons Hanly Conroy Senior Partner Perry J. Browder, who serves as a member of PILI’s Board of Directors. “This annual luncheon is an opportunity to help PILI raise funds, generate greater awareness, and ultimately expand its statewide impact.”
PILI advances equal access to justice by connecting members of the legal community with those in need of legal assistance. Through a host of law student, graduate, alumni, and pro bono partnership programs, PILI leverages the strength and capabilities of Illinois’ legal community to address gaps in legal service delivery.
