Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Shannon M. Trevithick

(CHICAGO, IL)—Goldberg Segalla added Shannon M. Trevithick to the firm’s Global Insurance Services practice group in Chicago.

With more than 25 years of experience as a lead attorney in insurance defense and coverage litigation, Trevithick has built a reputation for exceptional client advocacy, strategic insight, and consistent results. He has deep experience analyzing complex and multi‑state insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions, and preparing reservation‑of‑rights letters that help clients navigate high‑stakes decisions with clarity and confidence. Trevithick supports clients through every phase of litigation, preparing witnesses and experts for deposition, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, managing discovery with an eye toward nationwide uniformity, and representing clients in court hearings, jury trials, and other legal proceedings. His decades of work across the insurance industry give him an in‑depth understanding of insurance products, claims handling practices, and industry‑specific risks, allowing Trevithick to anticipate challenges and align legal strategy with each client’s business objectives.

Trevithick earned his B.A. from Colorado State University and his J.D. from the Gonzaga School of Law.
