Nearly two dozen volunteer attorneys helped answer hundreds of phone calls, emails and Skype calls at the 35th Annual Ask A Lawyer Day on Saturday, April 30. Those calls helped members of the public resolve their legal issues or gave them the next steps toward resolving those issues. The endeavor also garnered much positive media coverage throughout Illinois.

John L. “Jack” Flynn passed away peacefully on April 7 in Fort Lauderdale, FL following complications from a fall. A lifelong resident of Evanston, IL, he married Gene Flynn (nee Schaefer) 51 years ago--and considered this his best decision ever. He was the proud father of John, also a lawyer, and father-in-law of Karin, as well as the devoted Granddad of Sofia and Isabel. He was the fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Jack was pre-deceased by his younger brothers Donald G. and Gary J.. 

Born December 23, 1930 to Margaret and John J. Flynn, Jack was a graduate of Loyola Academy and Northwestern University schools of Business and Law. While at Northwestern he joined Sigma Nu Fraternity where he formed many lifetime friendships. He later served in the US Army in GA where he taught military law and was fortunate enough to serve as a marshall for the US Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta. An avid lifelong golfer, he would later spend countless hours trying to figure out the game, most of them at Evanston Golf Club. 

Robert H. Liddle Jr. of Naperville, Illinois formerly of Buffalo, New York, beloved husband of Hope A. (Paolini) Liddle, devoted father of Marleah J. Liddle, Alexander R. Liddle, and Jenna M.T. Liddle, dear brother of A. DuAine (Bill Schierlitz) LoGrasso, Timothy (Shirley) Liddle, and Walter Liddle. Mr. Liddle was predeceased by his parents Robert H. Liddle Sr. and Stella (Salamone) Liddle, and his beloved "buddy" Allegro; dearest brother-in-law of Mary R. (Michael) Pachla, Joanne E. (A.Kem) Fronabarger, Francine (Martin Zyla) Paolini, Michael A. (late Michelle) Paolini, and Peter Paolini; cherished uncle of Jackie Gannon, Timothy Liddle Jr., Eric Liddle,Melissa Diamond, Jonathan J. Kacala, Zachary L. Paolini, Olivia R. Paolini; dear great uncle of Sage Gannon, and Avea Diamond; dear cousin of Leonard Salamone; many other cousins of the Liddle, Masso, and Paolini families and numerous colleagues and dear friends.
