The deadline to submit nominating petitions for the ISBA election is tomorrow, Wednesday Jan. 31, at 4:30 p.m. at either the Illinois Bar Center, 424 South 2nd Street, in Springfield, or the ISBA Office at 20 S. Clark Street, 9th Floor, Chicago.
Members of the ISBA will elect a third vice president, six seats on the Board of Governors, and 22 seats on the Assembly in Cook County this spring.

James Joseph Bertucci, born August 26th, 1943, passed away on December 26, 2017 at age 74. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Janet, his son James, his daughter-in-law Cary, and his two grandchildren Brenden and Avery. He was brother of Joan E. (the late Joseph) Zboravan and Mary R. "Mimi" (William C. Jr.) Aiston. Uncle of Kiernan (Erin) Aiston, Sean Aiston, Caitlin (Julien) Aiston-Valloton, James Zboravan and Jennifer Bearden. Brother-in-law of Jo-Ann Holmes.
Thomas Francis O'Gara, 78, of Wilmette, Illinois, passed away January 3, 2018, with his wife and son by his side. A Chicago native and lifelong resident of the area, he was born December 22, 1939, to Viateur Francis and Mary Ellen (Collins) O'Gara. He graduated from St. Ignatius College Prep, Loyola University and Chicago-Kent College of Law, and was a practicing attorney for forty-five years.

(Ruth) McClure; cherished grandfather of Jamison (Cody) Cornett and Corey (Danae) McClure, Andrew (Katie) and Laura Giegler, and Christine and Margaret McClure; great-grandfather of Evan Giegler; dear brother of the late John Baker McClure.
