Randy Lee Gori, age 47, of Edwardsville, Illinois, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020 at his residence.
He was born Oct. 26, 1972 in Richmond Heights, Missouri, the son of Lee and Judith Ann (Perkins) Gori. He married Beth Suchanek June 9, 2001 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in St. Louis Missouri. She survives.

Robert John Wagner, 64, of Crystal Lake, IL passed away peacefully on December 13, 2019. He had a sudden cardiac arrest three days prior and was surrounded by his family as he entered into Heaven.
Bob was born on December 31, 1954, in Evergreen Park, IL. He spent his early years on the south side of Chicago, before moving to Westchester, where he attended St. Joseph’s High School. After graduating Cum Laude from Marquette University (1976), he received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University’s School of Law (1980). On September 27, 1986, Bob married the love of his life, Nancy Louko. They built a happy life together with their four children.

Barbara W. Smith, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend, citizen, and attorney, died Saturday, Dec. 14, at the age of 89.
She was born on July 11, 1930, in Chicago, to Harold and Alta Williams. She graduated from the University of Illinois in 1952, and began a career in journalism at the local paper. She joined the Unitarian Church in Urbana where she met William (Bill) Smith at the Unitarian student club. They were married in January of 1956. Twins, Byron and Warren, were born in 1957. A daughter, Vivian, followed in 1961. When the children got older, Barb worked for Dr. Shaheen at RPS 205 and then at the Board of Education Office before beginning law school at Kent School of Law at Illinois Institute of Technology, earning her law degree in 1979.

Robert R. Caughey, 79, of Pontiac, died Monday, Dec. 23, 2019, at 1:07 p.m. at his home.
Bob was born Oct. 4, 1940, in Pontiac, to Sidney V. and Helen I. (Buell) Caughey. He married AraLee Barnes, who passed away Aug. 24, 1997. He later married Linda (Bounds) Lesher on May 4, 2002. She survives in Pontiac.
He is also survived by his children, LoriLee (Alan) Dunahee of Fairbury, IL, Shannon (Cathleen) Caughey of Champaign, IL, Wendy (Tim) Bogar of Trophy Club, TX, Christi (Rob) Sullivan of Plainfield, IL, and Amanda Lesher of Normal, IL; and 14 grandchildren.

Judge Henry Lewis, of Carmi, Illinois, was born on May 26, 1926 in Carmi and died peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones, on Thursday, November 28, 2019. Judge Lewis was the son of Rev. Henry Lewis and Helen Myrtle Pedersen, and the stepson of Julius P. Botsch. He is survived by his wife of 68 years,Pat C. Lewis of Carmi, four children, Jeff (Paula) Lewis of Indianapolis, Indiana, Kathy (Rick) Williams, of Louisville, Kentucky, Dan (Jennifer) Lewis of Merrillville, Indiana, and Sarah Johnston, of Carmi. Papa Henry was the beloved grandfather of nine grandchildren, David (Mitra) Lewis, Kristin Lewis, Daniel (Jen) Williams, Taylor (Blair) Hartman, Ben (Courtney) Williams, Claire (Ben) Bellamy, Duncan Lewis, Margaret (Jason) Maxwell and Henry (Emily)Johnston, and great grandfather of Hank Hartman, Owen Lewis, Ruthie Hartman, Augie Johnston, Eleanor Bellamy, Miles Johnston, Wesley Geary, Jocie Geary, plus, two more in utero arriving soon! He is also survived by his sister, Enid Thuermer, was predeceased by his parents, his stepfather, and his brother Robert Lewis.

She was born Aug. 17, 1948, in Springfield, the daughter of Maurice W. and Mary Jean (McEvoy) Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jeanne is survived by her brother, Richard (Madalyne) Scott; nieces, Karen (Craig) Ames and Nancy (Mark) Boylan; and their children, Patrick, John, and Margaret Ames, and William and Katherine Boylan, all of Bloomington.
