Antonio M. Romanucci, Founding Partner and Principal at Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, was recently nominated as 3rd Vice President by the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA). The Nominating Committee Report was submitted for approval June 10th at ITLA’S Annual Membership Meeting at Westin Chicago River North, Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Romanucci has been an ITLA board member since 2003. As an ITLA member, their mission is to fight to ensure all citizens receive equal footing in the courtroom, even when taking on the most powerful interests. Members, like Romanucci, see to it that those who harm consumers, other individuals, or even their own employees, are held accountable.

Franczek Radelet has bolstered its Immigration Practice with the addition of Karlie Dunsky, who provides employment-based immigration counsel to clients at public, private and nonprofit companies across the country. 

Dunsky, who joins as an associate, has extensive experience counseling employers through the nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processes, allowing employers to recruit and retain the most talented foreign national workers. She is well-versed in H-1B, L, TN, O, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3 visas and adjustment of status, representing H-1B/L-dependent employers and consulting firms, and ensuring compliance with H-1B regulations for employees in unique industries involving variable work locations. She is also particularly experienced in responding to extensive Requests for Evidence and audits by the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Labor.

Chuhak & Tecson, P.C., is pleased to announce that Principal Eileen Sethna will lead the firm’s 28-attorney banking practice group beginning June 1. She replaces Josh Hyman, a principal who started the banking group in 2002 and who will continue with the firm.

Sethna came to Chuhak & Tecson five years ago, having already distinguished herself with a successful career as a bankruptcy attorney and a seasoned trial lawyer. She also serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois, appointed by Attorney General Lisa Madigan.

Serving clients across the nation from a single office in Chicago for nearly 35 years, SFGH’s New York office provides an additional resource for its clients’ business needs. Expanding the depth of corporate and securities practices, partner Vanessa Schoenthaler will anchor SFGH’s New York office and growing securities practice. Several of the firm’s New York licensed attorneys will be spending significant time in its New York office. The new office also provides SFGH with closer connections to the bankruptcy and restructuring communities in New York and Delaware.
