Koplan Nwabuoku has joined Chuhak & Tecson's litigation practice group as an associate with a focus on complex commercial litigation. Koplan brings to the firm experience in an array of litigation matters including contract disputes, defending officers and directors in dissociative litigation, employment torts, and disputes over restrictive covenants.
Conrad Scully has joined the Mattoon law firm of Heller, Holmes & Associates, P.C. as an associate.
He graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law in May 2017. While in law school, Scully was a notes & comments editor for the Illinois Law Review and was also a peer adviser for incoming first year law students.
Prior to law school, Scully attended Purdue University, majoring in political science, and graduated with honors.
Scully will be concentrating in personal injury and wrongful death, worker’s compensation, and commercial litigation. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Coles-Cumberland Bar Association.

Kasko earned her J.D. in 2015 from the John Marshall Law School. She had previously worked in the finance industry for Fortune 500 companies such as Hewlett Packard and Westinghouse Electric. However, she wished to pursue a career in law, as her mother had before her.
After graduation, Kasko worked as an associate attorney for a suburban Chicago firm, focusing on family law. She is certified as a mediator by the Center for Conflict Resolution and has experience resolving civil disputes in Cook County. Chase M. Hundman recently joined the Howard & Howard Associates, LLC Chicago office as a new associate.
Chase M. Hundman concentrates his practice in commercial litigation. He began his career with Howard & Howard as a summer associate in 2016. Prior to joining as a full-time associate, he was a judicial extern for Judge Jon DeGuilio at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. There, he drafted opinions and orders for the judge and attended court proceedings to advise on pertinent legal issues.
Mr. Hundman received his B.A., cum laude, from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2014 and his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2017. He is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois.
The Hon. Jeffrey S. MacKay, associate judge of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, has been appointed circuit judge of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit, at Large, by the Illinois Supreme Court. The appointment will be effective Dec. 1 following the retirement of Hon. Kathryn E. Creswell.
Hon. MacKay is a graduate of Kent College of Law, Chicago, 1992, and was admitted to the practice of law in Illinois in 1993. Judge MacKay is currently an associate judge in the Misdemeanor Division of the 18th Judicial Circuit, having been appointed to the bench in April of 2013. He was in private practice for 12 years with the law firm of Ekl, Williams and Provenzale (2001-2013), and also served as an assistant DuPage County state’s attorney (1993-2001). Judge MacKay is an active member of the DuPage County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.

Deen is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in accounting. Ryne J. Vitug recently joined Ariano Hardy Ritt Nyuli Richmond Lytle & Goettel, P.C., (AHR) as its newest attorney. Vitug will focus his practice on commercial and residential real estate and civil litigation cases.
Attorney Ryne Vitug is a graduate of DePaul University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in political science in 2013 and a Juris Doctorate in 2016. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2017. He is a member of the Illinois State, Kane County and DuPage County Bar Associations.
Before joining AHR, Vitug worked as a law clerk for the Office of the Illinois Attorney General. He also gained experience as an extern for the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office and the Circuit Court of Cook County.

Patrick Quinn announced the formation of the Park Ridge-based Quinn Law Group, LLC,focusing on personal injury cases and estate planning services.
Quinn represents clients seeking compensation for their personal injuries. Previously, he worked on the other side of personal injury cases, defending insurance companies during personal injury, wrongful death and healthcare negligence lawsuits.
