Governor Bruce Rauner issued the state proclamation honoring the Founding Trustees of the Illinois Equal Justice Foundation (IEJF), which was established in 1999 with the passage of the Illinois Equal Justice Act. Richard Demarest Yant has been elected to the board of directors of the Union League Club of Chicago, a 137-year-old non-partisan civic, cultural and philanthropic organization. He also will chair the Club’s public affairs committee.

Having helped create and having served fifty years with the Federal Defender Program, Terence F. MacCarthy is officially retired on June 30, 2016.
